ROSA Team announce ROSA Desktop 2012 Release Candidate

The work on the new generation of ROSA Desktop operating system is coming to its end. Release candidate is the fourth and the last test version of the distribution. Since the alpha release in August, 2012 developers have significantly improved stability of the system, fixed all critical issues and added support for a wide range of modern hardware.

ROSA LXDE 2012 LTS released

ROSA LXDE 2012 LTS community edition has been released.
Based on ROSA Marathon packages and 100% compatible with it.

The only and main difference is the default graphic enviroment which is LXDE -- Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment. This community release is designed primarily for users with old legacy hardware.
