The first OpenMandriva Lx 4.1 release cycle milestone is available for download and testing.
Major changes since 4.0:
- The toolchain has been updated, everything has been built with glibc 2.30 and clang 9.0
- The kernel has been updated to 5.3.9
- KDE Frameworks: 5.64.0
- KDE Applications: 19.08.3
- Qt Framework 5.14.0 (beta 2 for now, will be 5.14.0 final for the final version)
- More alternative desktops are available for testing
- We also provide the OpenMandriva clang compiled kernel, named kernel-release-clang. User can install same version of kernel-release and kernel-release-clang for comparison. It is built from the same sources as the regular kernel package, but has been built using the clang toolchain instead of gcc. Clang is the default compiler in OpenMandriva, but only recently the kernel was made compatible with it - for now, this is experimental.
