First details about ROSA Server

In RosaLab Blog:

ROSA company has decided the date of ROSA Server 2012 distribution release. The final release will happen on October 31st, 2012. Test versions will be available on August 31st and September 30th. The distribution will be built using ROSA ABF (Automatic Build Farm) — an own open-source software development and build framework.

ROSA Server is a new item in the company's product line. The system will be compatible with widespread commercial enterprise software, provide tools for building private clouds, and contain supplementary ROSA-specific administration tools. There will be a classical LAMP-stack (based on MySQL 5.1/PostgreSQL 8.4, Apache 2.2, PHP 5.3) as well as a “cloud stack” (based on KVM, libvirt and OpenStack Essex).

The distribution will target enterprise users. In addition to a free community edition, there will be a certified by Russian authorities version targeted at the local market. Commercial technical support will be available as a separate service.
