Directory and file names are often used to organize image libraries. Fotoxx can now search for images using one or more strings to match against directory and file names. Wildcards are understood. This can also be used in combination with other user-defined image tags, dates, and importance ratings. Two significant bugs were also fixed (details in change log).

The ufraw command for tiff-16 output was changed and the old syntax no longer works. Fotoxx was modified to try both ways. This problem surfaced with Ubuntu 9.04. Dependency checking in the build script was modified to tolerate more variability in where stuff is found (Linux chaos). Bugfix: undo stack corruption when editing with multiple fotoxx instances.

Images and text can be rotated by any angle.
Images can have simple frames added around them.
Image file selection dialog simplified: click file, click layout, repeat.
