Trimage is a cross-platform GUI and command-line interface to optimize image files via optipng, pngcrush, advpng and jpegoptim, depending on the filetype (currently, PNG and JPG files are supported). It was inspired by imageoptim. All image files are losslessy compressed on the highest available compression levels. Trimage gives you various input functions to fit your own workflow: A regular file dialog, dragging and dropping and various command line options.

Trimage è un’interfaccia grafica per ottimizzare file immagini di tipo PNG e Jpeg.

Il programma fornisce un sistema comodo e pratico all’utente anche inesperto passando il lavoro vero da svolgere a programmi come optipng, pngcrush, advpng e jpegoptim in base al tipo di file su cui si sta lavorando. L’interfaccia ha preso ispirazione dal programma per Mac Os X imageoptim.

L’ottimizzazione dei dati delle immagini consente di ridurre la dimensione dei file finali senza una perdita di informazioni. Trimage supporta anche il drag & drop e dispone di opzioni da linea di comando.
