Re: MIB basic x64 repo and Firefox 15 problem
Try again, now it should be ok! bye, NicCo Last night I noticed that media info is updated, so I tried to update my system and it worked. I just had a small glitch with one header (.h) file from libsqlite3-devel package (32bit vs 64bit package conflict), so I had to force install libsqlite3-devel x...

[SOLVED] MIB basic x64 repo and Firefox 15 problem
Is something wrong with MIB basic x64 ROSA repo? I see that Firefox 15 rpms are in repository, but looks like urpmi doesn't see them. :( Looks like that rpm files are on proper place, but that repository media info is not updated. I tried with two mirrors http://mirrors.coreix.net/MIB/rosa2012lts/64...

Re: [HOW TO] Install JRE/JDK 7u6 from Oracle
Yep but all the links I listed are executables or man pages belonging to the JRE, not to the JDK: so my question remains... GvM OK, you have more links then me, since you have more java versions installed (oracle java, sun java, openjdk...), so that is expected. I just made some quick tests to see ...

Re: [HOW TO] Install JRE/JDK 7u6 from Oracle
Thank you viking. I moved your how-to in Tutorial section. You are welcome. It would be good if someone can try to install any of those RPMs (jdk-7u6-linux-i586.rpm, jdk-7u6-linux-x64.rpm, jre-7u6-linux-i586.rpm or jre-7u6-linux-x64.rpm) and to let us all know is it posible or not. jdk-7u6-linux-x6...

[HOW TO] Install JRE/JDK 7u9 from Oracle (DEPRECATED)
New rewritten guide for Java 7u25 can be found here Unfortunately, new Oracle licensing policy force users to download and install Oracle java packages from the official Oracle site. That is also a reason why package get-jre7-oracle was removed from ABF. Many thanks to person who wrote original RH ...

Re: Java
For Viking : cool guy ! So I repeat what I said : 1. java from Oracle runs well after rpm installation, yes. 2. But I was speaking about plugin for web browser which is present only in 32 bits version as recommended by Oracle. 3. So how to integrate java 32 bits with its web plugin in a x86_64 envi...
