periferiche, software inclusi in kde...

Ciao

Re: Kde 4.3.4: we are working on it for Mandriva 2009.1 & 2010.0
I announce that today:
we have just completed the porting of all 63 language file rpms for 2009.1 KDE 4.3.4
while tomorrow we hope to do the same with the language files for 2010.0 KDE 4.3.4
In the meanwhile we have fixed all the remaining problems signaled by our testers, with newer package release (.3):
we hope them would be the final ones!
We are porting other interesting KDE stuff, the final port would be very huge
We hope so, if possible, to starting a safe public testing for this WeekEnd
We are preparing other interesting stuff for new Kde, so the final porting will be very stable and complete
Bye,
NicCo

Re: Kde 4.3.4: we are working on it for Mandriva 2009.1 & 2010.0
I upgraded to KDE 4.3.4 on my 32bit 2010 laptop. I've been using it for a couple of days.
The install was very smooth with no problems. KDE 4.3.4 is very fast and stable. I have been using it for a couple of days and it has been problem free except for one small thing...kinfocenter does not show in the kmenu.
It's a excellent build. Thank you, MIB!

I should add that, with respect to the mdv KDE team, this port seems to be much quicker and snappier than the 4.3.2 official release for 2010.0.
It's a shame that mandriva could not bring themselves to do this.
