First of all I'm a very green in Linux, just installed the first Mandriva 5 days ago.
I downloaded mib-live-gnome-2010.0-x86_64 from here and managed to put it on a 8GB usb stick using livetousb.I booted from the stick and all was fine, working 100%,so I decided to install it on my laptop. When I clicked the live install icon nothing happened,no prompts, just nothing. How can I do to get mib-live-gnome-2010.0-x86_64 installed on my machine?

As I told I'm very new to this.
Try with xguest user means I have to log out and then log in as xgust and than try live install?
Sorry to be so stupid and thank you for the help.
O.K It worked. I'm installing it right now.Thank you.
I hope it will come by itself with the nice desktop user live has. If not I'll be back for help on how to make it appear.
