Excuse me? Since when the mdv policy is not providing alias for the libs?mikala wrote:the lib(64)wkinnvidiahack is also available in the « normal » repository (and in fact is not affected by the networkmanager support)ominomichelin wrote:Added the testing repo , tnx for the new dbus and for kwinnvidiahack
But , if I may, would be very useful an alias for lib64kwinnvidiahack4
( I don't get any clue how is name it in ix86)
so that could be used no matter the architecture :
maybe libkwinnvidiahack or choose one at will, because would avoid using arch related macros .
Hope in the future %_rel you consider it .
tnx again
I don't know the importance of this lib, the only reference i found is this http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=111&t=89431.Code: Select all
mikala@hatmehyt [~] % urpmq --sources lib64kwinnvidiahack4 ftp://sekhmet.lan.littleboboy.net/Public/pub/linux/MandrivaLinux/2010.1/x86_64/media/main/release/lib64kwinnvidiahack4-4.4.3-20mdv2010.1.x86_64.rpm ftp://sekhmet.lan.littleboboy.net/Public/pub/linux/Littleboboy/2010.1/x86_64/media/kde4.5.3/release/lib64kwinnvidiahack4-4.5.3-0.1mdv2010.1.x86_64.rpm ftp://sekhmet.lan.littleboboy.net/Public/pub/linux/Littleboboy/2010.1/x86_64/media/kde4.5.3/testing/lib64kwinnvidiahack4-4.5.3-0.1.1mdv2010.1.x86_64.rpm
Regarding using a global name for the lib is against mandriva's policy and i'm striclty following it.
But in fact maybe nvidia user should install it by default.
as far as I see you also use it :
Code: Select all
[symbianflo@Mandriva2010 ~]$ rpm -q lib64qt4-devel --provides
qt4-devel = 4:4.7.0-5mdv2010.1
libqt4-devel = 4:4.7.0-5mdv2010.1
.....................
Is no point being aggressive here I've only try to be useful, anyhow sorry to bother you .
