Happy Holidays to MIB !
The MIB KDE 4.3.4 project is stilll in testing, but when we finished all the tune-up,
we'll move it in the MIB default repos to make of it the standard developer platform,
so who wants MIB packages have to use MIB KDE 4.3.4 too,
if some users don't want that thing, they only could:
a> remove MIB repos at all, and forget the MIB
b> enable to download only some (not QT) rpms, and then disable it after install
The reason is due, we cannot follow two different Kde branch, and to
prepare, build, and test, all the rpms for the two different platforms:
the thing is much more evident in 2009.1, where packages built with
KDE 4.3.4 are not working in the KDE 4.2.4 environment,
while conversely the apps built with old KDE 4.2.4 or KDE 4.3.2 are
full compatible within new KDE 4.3.4
Many like to define the MIB to be "aggressive", but it's not true at all:
every decision has a cause and motivation,
we are but a community of users who use their free time to serve the community, not much is being said
I hope you understand our point of view, we cannot do more than this...
