KDE 3.5.10 & Mandriva 2008.1

Post by Pulfer »

Does MIB team plan to backport KDE 3.5.10 to Mandriva 2008.1?

awilliamson, official Mandriva Forum's admin, recently wrote about this:

"There may be a 3.5.10 backport for 2008.1, but also there may not. Our KDE team is not huge and it is very focused on getting KDE 4 into good shape for 2009 at present, and follow-up work on 2009 after release may result in there being no time to do a 3.5.10 for 2008.1."

I must thank you even if is a very sad news , for me ....means that the MIB 64 bit section will continue to mantain only 2008.1, but if they'll find the time & resources to improve 3.5.10 to , then I'll be glad to continue the packagging for 2009.0 .
Thx again
:D ciao ciao SymbianFlo :D
