Request for Libgpod / iFuse for 2009.x & 2010.x

Post by xircon »

Morning

Managed to connect my iPhone, but some people running 2010.0 are having trouble installing the above:

http://forum.mandriva.com/viewtopic.php?p=795742#795742

It is working for me in Cooker. Could you Guys work your magic and backport?

Cheers

hd list updated, your requested packages are available as updates,
if it works, the porting could be extended to 2010.0/64 and 2009.1

Le liste sono in aggiornamento, fra qualche ora dovrebbero diventare visibili come /updates,
ma credo che se funzionano come dovrebbero, occorra portarli anche almeno per 2010.0/64

After testing on a real work PC, I realized that two packages do not need to be rebuilt:

Code: Select all

LC_ALL=C urpmi  `ls | grep -v devel`
...
Some requested packages cannot be installed:
lib64gpod4-0.7.93-0.1mib2010.0.x86_64 (in order to keep lib64gpod4-0.7.93-1mdv2010.0.x86_64)
libgpod-0.7.93-0.1mib2010.0.x86_64 (in order to keep libgpod-0.7.93-1mdv2010.0.x86_64)
Continue installation anyway? (Y/n) y
Just strike Y and complete the installation if urpmi complains about them.

Moreover, the 2010 x86_64 build is ready and being uploaded.
Please, let us know if it works.
