[package request] mint menu
I don' t have much time to look at it myself but it would be nice to have the mintmenu for mandriva, below a src rpm for fedora, I guess patch2 needs to be redone for mandriva but patch7 should function, if packagekit is installed

Re: [package request] mint menu
Well it turned out not to hard to convert, I just need to tweak the package a little bit and I will give the package (4.9.6) to you guys.
Just need to brand it and find out what the command is to launch rpmdrake in update mode

Re: [package request] mint menu
the fedora patch uses gnome-packagekit and this also works in mandriva but it would be nice to have the native tool....also I found uninstall from the rightclock menu doesnt work but I have no idea why not...it should work (via packagekit)

Re: [package request] mint menu
@nicco
you can take it from drophere noarch.rpm &srp.rpm
for 2010.0&2009.1
@aap
look nice for gnome, but is really ugly compared with kde's kickoff
I'm not a really gnome lover...

Re: [package request] mint menu
Since kde4.4 is so slow, and loud and still lacks many essential features I have grown to like gnome. I had very high hopes for kde4.4 but I was very disappointed, long standing issues not fixed, performance worse than 4.3 and even more annoying effects which can't be turned off...SymbianFlo wrote: look nice for gnome, but is really ugly compared with kde's kickoff

BTW tracker can be turned off completely and mintmenu will still run, it just needs it installed
ps: for kde lancelot is much better than kickoff
