Banshee cannot be installed

Post by aapgorilla »

Banshee cannot be installed due to the following error:

The following packages have to be removed for others to be upgraded:
beagle-0.3.9-20.8mdv2010.0.i586
(due to unsatisfied mono(taglib-sharp) == 2.0.3.3)
beagle-evolution-0.3.9-20.8mdv2010.0.i586
(due to unsatisfied mono(BeagleDaemonLib) == 0.0.0.0)

Hi,

specialworld83, said me, he tested new banshee with beagle,
it's very strange, because I recommended to him to check this thing

he said me , the program install itself without problems,
now we have to wait him for a solution, or to remove the package

bye,
NicCp

This poblem only appears if you have installed beagle. I don't use beagle, this program isn't essential, I think

Il pacchetto beagle-0.3.9-20.8mdv2010.0.i586 è già installato ( result urpmi )

It' s really strange that should remove it, mine is installed correctly.

Among other things, I removed the beta and installed the stable without a hitch

The most recent version of Beagle is 0.3.9, Which WAS released on 26 January 2009 from the web site, so not being updated with new lib I can recompile the svn, but I do not know to what extent act.

Beagle on the site is clear, the SVN version says this: Beagle Is not in active development. It Is Getting Some occasional maintenance done by Novell, the problem is unfortunately beagle and banshees.

Install beagle-gui, required for banshee.

P.S: Let me know if you successfully install banshee, because I can make a fresh rebuild.
