Re: A new Mandriva-Fork is coming!!!

Does anyone know if MIB will support the project and offer it's services since it'll be like Mandriva? I wish I could read some of the Italian posts on this subject.

Re: A new Mandriva-Fork is coming!!!
I am a bit uncertain at this point.
The reason?
I want a good distro and I want Mandriva to continue in some form, because it is too good to die. Mandriva (the company) has been a disaster at communicating and many, especially the Germans, suffered from it.
I have helped Mageia out a bit with translations and I hope they will prevail, but I think they need to cooperate with Mandriva.
Mandriva is willing to too do this and Mageia is not, as it seems. In the end it is all about the best possible distro. I don't give a rats ass about personal prestige.
If Mageia sucks I wont use it - the same goes for Mandriva. I hope they can both come up with a good result.
