At some point, I'm not sure when, the small pix that come up when I click view- Preview went to diagonal lines. Like an old TV that was out of sync.
Is there a setting that can affect this or what?

When?
Are you perhaps configuring your video card with XFdrake?
If so, what is you hardware and model of your video card...
bye,
NicCo

Re: "Preview"
It's configured with the install, what ever that uses. It worked fine until sometime recent, I think it was after an update; but I'm not sure.

Re: "Preview"
If it makes a difference...
I just noticed that the "micro" images which show on the folder icon ARE good images; but the preview images are lines.
And I think I'm useing the nvida drivers

Re: "Preview"
Yes, one of the options under 'view' is 'preview'. When you use it it brings up a thumbnail of the picture.
And that is the one which looks like an old TV out of sync, all diagonal lines.

Re: "Preview"
??? I was hunting for any settings which might impact this problem. I found the preview size setting and thought that reducing the size thereby lowering the demand might affect it.
I tried it and the thumbnails came back.
What I don't understand is that now I can choose any size I want and it still works. Any thoughts? I fear that a problem not fixed which disappears like this may come back.
