did you read the comment from Nicco, below the Blog entry you linked?
It says where you can find the rpms for the intel driver (for Mdv 2010.1 only... sorry):

if you are on i586/i688;
http://mib.pianetalinux.org/MIB/2010.1/64/testing/
in you are on x86_64.

BTW, you will also need to install some others rpms from those dirs (at least the lib[64]drm, possibly also the new Mesa stuff...)

"They" = who?
If "They" = Mandriva devs... perhaps for 2010.2, more likely (IMO) for 2011.

If "They" = MIB... please see the explication below.
The packages you want are somewhat "risky" because they possibly could cripple rather seriously your distro installation: there is no guarantee they will work out-of-the-box for any MB-GPU combo and for any type of kernel-Mesa-libdrm-...-window manager-desktop env software stack, so you could end with a no more working xserver or KDE/GNOME. To use them, then, you also need to be capable of self-repair the possible "damage" in your SW configuration...

For all the above reasons, the MIB staff chose to place the relevant rpms outside of the "normal" MIB repos; in this way, no casual MIB user can wrongly "upgrade" the driver video or other parts of the video stack (Mesa, libdrm, xserver ecc ecc), but only the users interested in it and enough expert to handle any consequence.

Therefore, "testing" for the MIB does not mean "unstable" or "development" but only "not enough tested" / "not tested on every possible user config": so, you only need to try and see... YMMW
