Re: RPM-request : lightspark / ATI+NVIDIA new driver
You're confusing the proprietary fglrx (catalyst in AMD lingo) drivers with the open source ones (x11-driver-video-ati in Mdv)...sameeer_45 wrote:hello

The 6.13.2 is the latest stable release available for the open ati driver: you can find it in the MIB testing dir (but in Cooker you can also find a recent snapshot of the head devel branch for it: 6.13.99-0.20101208)...
About the fglrx 10.12: according to rpmfind (http://fr.rpmfind.net/), at this time only the rel. 8.791 (AKA 10.11) is available, both in Cooker and Non-Free/Backports repos... you need some patience: in the next few days (or weeks...), as usual, you should be able to find there the newer 10.12 release.
Regards.

Re: RPM-request : lightspark / ATI+NVIDIA new driver
Well, ATM I'm a little busy with other things and I have no idea about the time and the effort I will need to make a rpm for the newer lightspark...sameeer_45 wrote: but you dont say anything about lightspark
in a such cases I prefer to say nothing until I know for sure I will try to do it.
However, I can't talk for all the MIB members: perhaps someone will step forward and make the rpm you request...
you only need a little patience.
BTW, it would be nice to know more details about your request: rpm for which Mandriva distro? And for which arch? (see the forum post about how to request some software: http://mib.pianetalinux.org/mib/forum/v ... f=20&t=519... please follow the above instructions, next time).
Regards.
GvM
PS. At the MIB we are packagers, rather than "developers"...
