Re: big problem ..... MIB repo mirrors removed from URPMI RU
here a good Official Guide to add all the needed repo: MDV + PLF + MIB
http://mib.pianetalinux.org/mib/forum/v ... =21&t=2223
I use for my configs, the last static repo config (that with proxad.fr)
http://mib.pianetalinux.org/mib/forum/v ... 223#p12461
If you execute those scripts you have the right suggested configs for MIB (all backports activated)
MDV + PLF + MIB (release, updates and backports, all enabled), without /testing (not recommended)
bye, NicCo

Re: big problem ..... MIB repo mirrors removed from URPMI RU
wa.................hoohoohhoo
i didn't know anything about that
and i want the people to call me an expert in mandriva enviroment
now i know that all of my Knowledge is so small about this enviroment
===================
but isn't mirror the best choice for beginer
because if some links failed in downloading
then there will be another to continue the downloading
isnt it ?
===================
and what is the diffrence between what you suggest and the mirror

Re: big problem ..... MIB repo mirrors removed from URPMI RU
The automatic mirror selection with api.mandriva.com, gave in the past many problems,
for example addressing me to garr.it as mirror for Italy, even when garr.it was offline...
with the manual proxad repo, instead, I have had no problem until now, it's fast and 99.99% online
and you must consider too, that MIB has one only site, not other mirror, and at 99,99% it's online...
you can use the first part scripts, with the api.mandriva.com, if you prefer, so we published too!
bye, NicCo
