Re: Aurorae theme engine
Aurorae is part of KDE since KDE 4.4.x as it is wrote on the aurorae website & merge in fact in kdebase4-workspace package if you're looking after mandriva's package .ozky wrote:does anybody know where to get that window decorator engine ? many distro have it in repo

You can confirm it locally using :
Code: Select all
urpmf --files aurorae
The fact is that mandriva does not install any aurorae compatible theme by default but 2 of them are package :
Code: Select all
urpmf --name aurorae
kdeartwork4-aurorae-themes-air-oxygen
kdeartwork4-aurorae-themes-oxygen
Please note that you need to have 3d effects enable to get the fancy effect available.
Also the configuration seems to be (& you're right on that part but it's probably an upstream bug since we don't have any patch
regarding that part) quite simple (when it was not before 4.3 or even in 4.4)
I found a kubuntu user affected also ( cf http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=90299 )
That's all.
