rpmdrake crashes after latest perl-urpm update

Hi @all

i updated my system and the latest perl-urpm was installed. After that, my drakerpm crashes if i try to have an overview of my istalled software or try to install new software.
on my second maschine same problem

what can i do??

Which Mandriva Linux version do you have?

- Mandriva 2010.2 with official and backports for 2010.2
or perhaps
- Mandriva Cooker (2011) or a 2010.2 with cooker repo enabled?

Perhaps your rpm database has been corrupted somewhat,
so you can try, from a root shell to execute this command

You have to wait a little for the complete rpm database rebuild

started updatedb as root. Then mcc again "install software" -> crash!

your version of rpmdrake 5.26.3.4 comes from the repository main/testing.

I have version rpmdrake-5.26.3.3-1.2mdv2010.1.noarch without problem.

i think it is a perl problem.

so i have to install/update at konsole.

thanks all for your help. MIB is the best forum i ever seen. two thumbs up!!

Today, with my konsole update this update was installed

perl-URPM-3.37.2-1.2mdv2010.2.i586

and now rpmdrake starts without problems!!
