virtualbox 4.0.4 & supertuxkart are broken

why the two of those packages are broken

the first one is super.....

i can open the previous version but the new one i cant even if i remove the configs file from home

the second one is vir.....


i can open the 4.0.4 version from main repo but the version which is from mib repo i cant

so any suggestion

Remember you have to specify, at least:
Mandriva distro, Arch (32 (i586/i686) or 64 (x86_64)), Kernel


My son is playing with supertuxkart, just now:
so, I'm rather sure mib supertuxkart 64bit works fine.

I don't use virtualbox:
but I read a Salvatore47 msg saying 64bit works fine.



Are you sure your repositories configuration is right?

Hello,

I am running Mandriva 2010.1 n 32bit arch.
Supertuxkart 0.7-69mib2010.2 installed from MIB repo works fine here. The one supplied with the official repo was not working, so I has to uninstall it, then enable MIB repo and installed the one noted above.
Cannot tell about Virtualbox from MIB. The one I have is the OSE version 3.1.8 and works fine too.

Your graphic video card seems not satisfate OpenGL rendering specs, so that's the problem

We can't do nothing in the game package

Solution: Apart changing or adding a video card (we suggest one Nvidia card)

Attempt 1 > Give a look at /testing repository we have new Mesa, Drm, and Intel 2.13 driver,
there is a chance that new driver could work:
Some testers reported the intel .13 driver works better, and is 50% faster (glxgears rated)

If new driver not resolve, you can only wait for mdv 2011, in there a new graphic infrastructure with X.Org server/client, Mesa, Drm, Intel, KVM, ecc

i dont like to upgrade the drivers specially intel's video-driver

i will test it on cooker and give you the results later

ok here what i did

i tried to install it in cooker alpha 2

but the whole system crash and turned from GUI to terminal and freeze without any responding if i try to use the keyboard and the mouse still there

i tried it in mib-mandriva the first release (( before NicCo updated the iso )) and the intel driver there is just like mine 2.11

so how can i correct the new driver of intel if i have the same problem which i got it before three month

(( i got blank screen without any thing ))
