[Partly SOLVED] Installing Digikam 2.1.1 and Darktable

How do I install Digikam 2.1.1, which is the latest version.
Also, Darktable seems to be supported by MIB, but I cannot find the package.

Please advise.

No, that was not the solution I was looking for, as I had already tried to compile darktable without luck.

What I wanted to know: if there was a pre-compiled package on MIB for these 2 applications.
Example, I can find darktable here (http://mib.pianetalinux.org/MIB/2011.0/ ... c/?C=M;O=D ), but it will not install due to some library compatibility.

Currently, only 1.9.0 is available on Mandriva install list (urpmi), I wanted to know if the latest one would be available on MIB.

I really like Digikam and I use it almost every time I have to edit or manage my albums. The latest one has better features.

Please let me know if there is a package available, as compiling from source is too difficult, as I am not a programmer and truthfully, I have no clue what each error means and looking at google for every error kind of takes more than week.

You can't see any darktable there, in 2011.0
Darktable was ported for 2010.2, not yet for 2011.0, if possible it will be ported soon
