Here and in some other countrys of "The World" the people are obligated to use some Wimax modems from Beceem. Theyre like a windmodems because only windows drivers exists...
But the great company make linux drivers for use the usb modems in linux routers and make money, and a guy from bangladesh adapts the code for use the modems in Ubuntus.
The guy make scripts for compile the drivers (kernel drivers) and the application for connect to the Internets and adapts the script for use with a bangladeshis ISP.
Please if you can adapt the package for use with Mandriva.

The lzma files are interesant, they have source code and firmware binaries for the usb modems.
