Post by promeneur »

RM 2012 lts x86_64 (3.2.18 kernel one)
updated with all mib sources

i never tested a so buggy distrib

- during installation i ask update then it collects hdlist but never launches the updating process

- the very old numlock pb is still there

- shorewall is not activated by default : very secure !

- i can't access to my sd card or usb key (no kde notification, no place added in dolphin)

- using dolphin with kdesu then dolphin freezes

- when as a user i want to kill a root process then no dialog for password root

- i must install kernel 3.1.10 according to have a working bluetooth

- if i want to import from picasaweb
then
i can't open a picasaweb session via digikam 2.9.0 (a network management pb ?)

The Installer in the first version suffered by some problems,
the most of them have been fixed in RP1 (Release Pack 1)

RM 2012 lts x86_64 (3.2.18 kernel one) is rather old, now...
for that reason it's better downloading and installing RP1,
then you can add official repositories, the MIB backports,
and you can also install whatever kernel you wish...

ISOs of ROSA 2012 RP1 Marathon EE released!

Other issues can be fixed via the Errata wiki page
