Backport request: QT 4.4

ok it's almost normal that mandriva can't port everything and also normal that the main target for now is to resolve some major
bugs from 2009 ( and i think that 2009 aint got no bugs becose all the release is a huge bug ....) so to bring the new qt4
in 2008.1 it is feasible but not easy .......first of all we need the new gcc witch it's very delicate ....so I don't know ...what to say .....the new qt4 and the new ffmpeg would be very useful but very difficult , to much time needed to pack ......

No problems then. Personally I need QT 4.4 only to run qutIM 0.2 which is not released yet and maybe will be released even after 2009.1 is out (the project has no release schedule). Of course it would be nice to upgrade 0.1.1 to 0.1.99 (=0.2 beta), which already shows really great progress (jabber and some other protocols support through plugin system, Adium styles support and many more) but if backporting QT 4.4 is that difficult I'll wait for 2009.1 to be released.

BTW, why do we need new gcc? I simply downloaded official qt4-4.4.3-1mdv2009.0.src.rpm and built it on my 2008.1 system. Update from local directory went fine so now I have
