Problem with Elisa 0.5.17

Hi everyone. Have joined this forum to see if i can get some help with the mib package of Elisa for my mandriva 2009 system. I have never had a problem running Elisa 0.5.12 from the official mdv repos, but after adding the mib repos and installing the newer version i can not get it to start. Here is the terminal output..

Ok, so having another problem with this app again

Just updated to the mib package 0.5.25, and it starts up and runs fine, but there is a white box where the file list should be so you cannot see which options and files you are selecting..
