EPSXE 1.6.0 (PlayStation Emulator): Install it on 2010.2 64!
How to install ePSXe 1.6.0 on Mandriva Linux 2010.2 64bitEPSXE 1.6.0 is the best Sony PlayStation emulator for Linux around,
but its code is only 32bit so it was no possible the native porting in 64
ePSXe 1.6.0 is a 32bit native app, so it requires absolutely some 32bit libs from 32bit repositories:
many seem don't understand how to do properly for install that 32 bit program in a 64bit environment
Now we want absolutely Mandriva 64bit and we want EPSXE too, how to do?
Here a simply solution:
We could use the 32bit package rpm in 64bit environment, following this little guide that provide:
add some repos, install all the necessary packages, remove the repos added just a little before.
Naturally you must have all the default repositories already well configured and enabled (mdv, plf and mib)
Open a Terminal/Konsole root section, copy the code above, press Enter, and wait for a while
ePSXe 1.6.0 for Mandriva 2010.2 - on 64bit too!

# ePSXe 1.6.0 has been installed: Enjoy!
# It needs now some time to configure it properly
# ===============================================
# Greetings from Pulfer all the MIB Team
# Bye, bye and good Playing
bye,
NicCo
