Salve Salvatore47,

ho appena inviato sul server la versione silicon 1.8.1 per rosalts 64.

Bisogna aspettare Nicco per metterlo nelle cartelle pubbliche e aggiornare le liste.

Attenzione programma in versione beta e non testato.

Prima di tutto grazie per aver pacchettizzato il programma.

Provato su Mandriva 2011 - 64bit:

- il programma nel suo complesso funziona;

- nella fase di masterizzazione crea solo la directory dei files, subito dopo finisce la fase di scrittura uscendo fuori il CD - DVD.

- riporto qui l'errore che segnala:

- sembra che questo programma utilizza il tools --> Cdrtools (http://cdrecord.berlios.de/private/cdrecord.html);

- Mandriva usa il tools --> cdrkit (http://www.cdrkit.org/), questo tools non masterizza i Blu-ray;

- Nella discussione sul forum ( http://www.it-mandriva.org/k3b-silicon- ... t1084.html) Azioga dice che per masterizzare il Blu-ray ci vorrebbe Cdrtools;

- non capisco perché Mandriva usi cdrkit al posto di Cdrtools ?;

- usando cdrkit noi di Mandriva siamo penalizzati per la Masterizzazione dei Blu-ray.

C'è in giro uno script (installcdrtools.sh) che permette di installare su Mandriva i suddetti al posto del wodim &Co *senza* avere a disposizione rpm corrispondenti e senza scassare tutto quanto...
se cerchi sul newsgroup alt.os.linux.mandriva dovresti trovare facilmente il luogo dove scaricarlo: l'autore si chiama David W. Hodgins.
Usi quello, ti sostituisce i cdrtools al fasullo cdrkit senza disinstallarlo e vivi felice.

Leggendo nel primo link, ho scoperto un'altro software che dovrebbe fare le stesse cose di Cdrtools --> Cdrskin --> http://scdbackup.webframe.org/cdrskin_eng.html

Con K3b le proprietà del blu-ray sono identiche a quelle riportate qui: http://www.it-mandriva.org/k3b-silicon- ... t1084.html

Nelle impostazioni di K3b al posto delle varie funzioni di Cdrkit si trovano quelle di Cdrtools.

Secondo me ci vuole un aggiornamento di qualche lib per fare vedere le giuste proprietà del Blu-ray.

Nella masterizzazione dei CD - DVD si comporta normalmente (Blu-ray non provato).

Con Silicon 1.8.1 il programma si comporta bene nel vedere le proprietà CD - DVD - BLU-RAY.

Al momento della masterizzazione si comporta come prima.

Sembra che non riesca nella creazione del buffer per poter masterizzare, con la conseguenza di abortire l'operazione.
