The answer was / is already
if you cant absolutely understanding the Italian discussion, here it again adapted in English

The needed files are these:
Skype 4.0.0.8

To install those in MDV 2010 is possible and this is the tested way:
download the rpm file into a local folder /home/$YourUser/, then you must execute from root

MDV 2010 - 64bit

Code: Select all

rpm -Uvh /home/$YourUser/get-skype-4.0.0.8-3-rosa.lts2012.0.x86_64.rpm --nosignature
MDV 2010 - 32bit

Code: Select all

rpm -Uvh /home/$YourUser/get-skype-4.0.0.8-3-rosa.lts2012.0.i586.rpm --nosignature

Code: Select all

utente ~ $ ping rosalinux.ru
PING rosalinux.ru (195.19.76.249) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from 195.19.76.249: icmp_seq=1 ttl=48 time=102 ms
The problem should be only your,
I can reach ABF and the Skype rpm files regularly,
check you connection, change your DNS Servers

You can try this
http://195.19.76.249/

if the culprit is you DNS server, you should reach

I suggest switching to
Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4)
or
OpenDNS (208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220)

otherwise you can try our mirror at coreix.net
http://mirrors.coreix.net/rosa/rosa2012 ... 0.i586.rpm
http://mirrors.coreix.net/rosa/rosa2012 ... x86_64.rpm

I dont know

Here there is the IPV6 config for Google DNS servers
https://developers.google.com/speed/pub ... docs/using

Code: Select all

Google Public DNS IP addresses

The Google Public DNS IP addresses (IPv4) are as follows:

    8.8.8.8
    8.8.4.4

The Google Public DNS IPv6 addresses are as follows:

    2001:4860:4860::8888
    2001:4860:4860::8844

You can use either number as your primary or secondary DNS server. You can specify both numbers, but do not specify one number as both primary and secondary.

You can configure Google Public DNS addresses for either IPv4 or IPv6 connections, or both.

to use ipv6 i only unchecked "unactivate ipv6" in network advanced settings
then
i checked with several ipv6 test site, it works
but
i see a strange thing in resolv.conf i have this :

nameserver 212.27.40.241
nameserver 212.27.40.240

it's not normal if ipv6 is the default protocol, isn't it ?

i expect to have

nameserver <ipv6 address>
nameserver <ipv6 address>

no ?

perhaps by default dhclient works in ipv4 mode ? but how to ask to dhclient to work in ipv6 mode ?

yes i will try google dns

it works

then
i will try with ipv6 address of my isp dns

If with IPV6 address of your ISP doesnt work,
it's surely a problem ot the dbase of your isp

so use Google DNS, generally perform better...

apart all that:
did you solved with Skype 4.0.0.8 in MDV2010?
