Well, now I've got a short time about that and the work is finished now completly.
I wish tellin' a few words about that. I've decided packaging the ubuntu lucid themes, icons and notify because I like them and I think there are Mandriva Gnome Users like them, too
It has been much laborious package them because they had errors in the Mandriva murrine engine rpm, thanks I'm an unofficial debian packager I've found the reason of this bug in the debian packages, specifically in a special patch.
Cristina has updated the ubuntu logo to Mandriva Logo, ¡thanks Cristina! Good job babieee!!!
I only hope Mandriva users enjoy with these themes in your Mandriva PCs or laptops respectivily, only that purpose.
INSTRUCTIONS TO INSTALL THEM:
1. Install the task metapackage:
Code: Select all
su -
urpmi task-ubuntu-lucid-gnome-themes
That's all
With these steps you have turn on the Notify-Osd system.
APPLY THE UBUNTU THEMES:
1. Go to
System->Preferences->Apparence.
2. Choose
Ambience or
Radiance theme.
3. Restart your session.
That's all
The theme install a cool Rhythmbox plugin, with this plugin you'll see the cover art of your favourite discs or mp3 in your desktop. To apply it only turn on it on your Rhythmbox
This plugin only works if you have activate Compiz effects or Metacity.
