Starting from version 3.0.12 we added parche_energia.patch
this patch has been suggested, with insistence, by Tobal
this patch fixing the wrong ASPM enhance battery lasting by a lot, by our own test from 30% to 450%

I also have installed kernel 3.1.6 nrj- for mandriva 64bit and it's working just fine except one thing:my DVD writer!
Still it opened and close too fast and if I insert a DVD/CD isn't seen by my mandriva.
Please teach me how to do... :cry:
I mentioned I'm a new user of linux.

Installato kernel 3.1.6-netbook su 2010.2 64bit: funziona tutto, ma non mi rileva le reti wireless (escludo malfunzionamenti HW: se avvio con win o da live tutto funziona).
Suggerimenti?

Stesso problema anche a me con un ACER Aspire 5742.
L'impressione è quella che ci siano problemi con il modulo broadcom che non riesce a caricare all'avvio.

Immagino che vada installato anche il kernel broadcom ma è fermo alla versione 2.6.33...

Il mio vero problema è che dopo averlo installato non riesco più a vedere la mia scheda audio usb EDIROL UA101.

Edit:
la vedo con nrj (a proposito 3.1.6 per x64) ma non la vedo più con rt6.33 (poco male uno lo uso per registrare e l'altro per il resto, ma è un po' una rottura)

... inoltre mi piacerebbe sapere quali differenze sostanziali ci siano fra il kernel *-desktop e quello *-netbook. :?:

Purtroppo nn e possibile riavviare il pc con un kernel precedente: credo che tornerò alla situazione precedente. :cry:

Aggiornato Mandriva 2010.2 x86_64 con Xorg 1.11.3 e poi con Kernel 3.1.6 (3.1.6-desktop-69mib) ed è andato tutto bene!

ciao a tutti
Aggiornato una macchina 2010.2 32bit sembra tutto regolare , ho solo un problemino la scheda di questo poortatile che un Atheros AR5001 e stata targata non piu ath0 ma wlan0 funziona in modalita normale connessione ok ,il problema è che sotto aircrack-ng non la si può usare per l'annoso fix bug del cosidetto fixen channel mon0 cioe resta sintonizata solo su un canale e non ti fa fare a te l'impostazione su quello che vuoi visionare ,chiedevo se qualcuno sa come installare i compat wireless corretti non so se è fattibile ,in precedenza sulla 2010.0 prima di aggiornare e con kernel 2.6.31.14 il problema non si creava con l'atheros si con periferiche usb esterne ,ragazzi datemi na mano .
Scusatemi avevo aperto una mia vecchia discussione .
