Interesting testing development I want to suggest are the new network manager and pulseaudio versions

may we have the last network manager also for 2010.2 32 bit
because
today drakxnet is a bit obsolete . network manager has more functions.
i think about :
- wireless connectivity : ability to connect to wifi spot with id and pwd
- ipv6 features : ability to have dhcp addresses allocation, ability to have ipv6 only or default ipv6

with my isp i have ipv6 features since 2007. it's time for linux to switch to ipv6, no ?

but drakx-net-applet needed for enabling firewall from MCC
Mandriva is famous for functional GUI tools gathered in MCC

drakxnet and mandriva net applet is no more used. instead plasma nm applet and nm kcm are used.

we can set shorewall with the dedicated tool which is still there in the MCC : drakfirewall

it seems that rosa abandons progressively the MCC

if drakx-net-applet is missing drakfirewall don't work

a few weeks ago find that firewall was down and drakfirewall didn't worked
I use unofficial repos and somehow drakx-net 0.97 was installed but no drakx-net-applet 0.97(i can't find neither)
so i use force to downgrade to drakx-net 0.96 installing drakx-net-applet 0.96
now drakfirewall works

I also use networkmanager for handling network connections
I hope in near future will be one simple tool that handle network connection and security altogether
