I installed microcode-0.20120313-1-mib2011.0.noarch but the module did not load at next boot. After `modprobe microcode', I see

Code: Select all

If you see that text it means is working correctly

I dont know the reason it does not start at boot:
We noticed this problem with mdv distros, instead in rosa start without any modpprobe command

From your signature it seems that you are using kernel 3.2.18, I suggest you to update to 3.2.28
from kernel 3.2.25 to upper there have been memory improvments, so you could be some faster...

i discovered in the bios this:

- microcode patch level : none required
- microcode updation : enable

i assume the cpu does not need any microcode updating.

i uninstalled all microcode packets
