kdebase4-workspace-4.11.0-1-rosa2012.1.i586 conflicts with libxcb-util-image0-0.3.9-69.1-mib2012.1.i586 Solution?

it's the libxcb-util that is going in trouble...

it's the libxcb-util that is going in trouble...
It is urpmi that is having some troubles recently (*):
if you download the file giving the error dep and try to install it directly with "rpm -Uvh", the install succeeds
(try with the our old friend x11-driver-video-intel, if you want to see that without all the complications involved in a package as kdebase4-workspace...).
If it was a "real" conflict, also with rpm it should be present: otherwise it should be a glitch in the uprmi dep resolution, IMO...
GvM
(*) I also found that with rpmdrake is now impossible to uninstall a kernel package (at least one of our nrjQL): selecting one causes rpmdrake to queue for removing also the following packages:
bootsplash, microcode, ndiswrapper, x11-driver-video-nouveau and (consequently) the x11-driver-video metapackage...
Perhaps all the above things deserves a bugzilla entry.

Should be fine now, I guess.Alexander83 wrote:With latest updates Rosa task not working! I'm switching to standard kde task manager!
But there's one big issue with 32 bit KDE 4.11 which is not fixed yet: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=322283
When there are launchers on new taskbar, plasma crashes on user login. It can be restarted with "Alt+F2 -> plasma-desktop" and then works fine until logout. So it's better to remove all launchers from taskbar until this bug is fixed. Launchers are like common application shortcuts but their icons are smaller.
