First ABF rebuilds are currently work in progress...
this time the rpms will be available for for rosa 2012.1, and omv2013, cooker, and also, first time, omv2014,
for rosa marathon there are some very old issues related to ABF stopping the build...
for now only desktop nrjQL flavours have been enabled to rebuild, later we will enable some other flavours.

We noticed that Kernel 3.12 did not work with Virtualization Apps,
we found a solution to be applied directly to the vmware sources

No news about Nvidia drivers?
I tried to install 331.38.run, that claims to have solved the problems with kernels 3.11 and 3.12, over kernel 3.10.19 ,but XFdrake reports the driver as not correctly configured.

Maurice affirmed that kernel 3.12 for omv2013 works with nvidia driver available for omv2013,
at least with dkms-nvidia-current-331.20-3, perhaps backporting this to rosa 2012.1 may solve

Does it have any sense to try to install directly the dkms of OMV on rosa 2012.1?

Hi,
I'm running OmLx 2013.0 with the kernel nrjQL-desktop-3.11.8-1omv which works perfectly: wifi (far better than with preceding kernels), sleep mode, hibernation; ...
As I like to live dangerously, I installed:
-- kernel-nrjQL-desktop-3.12.5-69omv
-- kernel-nrjQL-desktop-3.12.6-69omv
-- kernel-nrjQL-desktop-3.12.7-69omv

With 3.12.5 and 3.12.6 : closing the laptop doesn't activate the sleep mode
With 3.12.7: all is ok :)

try these backported, but not tested, for 2012.1

Nicco,
I don't see the X_64 version of the 331.20 drivers, just the srpms and the 686 versions

Thanks Nicco, It works!

Didn't try on kernel 3.10.19, as I installed them on 3.11.6 and then upgraded to kernel 3.12.7.

During the installation of the x-org driver I answered no to the first question posed by the installer but the installation went ahead. I don't know if this is correct.
I didn't yet install the 32 bit version of the x-org driver. As suggested by the installer, before rebooting, I configured again the x-org driver with XFdrake.

Thank you again

the new nvidia driver 3.31.20 does not work with kernel 3.10.19, at least on my laptop (a dell precision m66). No problem with kernel 3.11 and 3.12.
What a mess to install rosa on a uefi system if the installation cd/usb is not recognized as an efi device by the bios! I had to use a live distribution recognized as efi to install grub and then manually edit the generated grub.cfg to have rosa reboot and finish the configuration.

Will there be kernel 3.12.x for Rosa Marathon LTS 64bit? I can see kernel 3.12.7 for 32bit OS version http://abf-downloads.rosalinux.ru/kerne ... n/release/ but not for 64bit one http://abf-downloads.rosalinux.ru/kerne ... n/release/, folder is empty.

lately ABF suffers about Marathon Kernel build for 64biy, while the 32bit is OK

I'll retry with the new kernel 3.12.8, I've pushed it to rebuild right now

1' POSTEDIT
it seems the problem is the folder (it should be somewhat broken)

so, I've forked 3.12.8 into another folder, and it seems building fine...

2' POSTEDIT
I've solved the problem, in about one hour you should find the rpms
