VMWare virtualization
We have noticed that Kernel 3.13 did not work with the VMWare virtualization
we searched for a solution to be applied directly to the vmware sources and finally:

Here is available the patched (fixed) archive (vmnet.tar) for the kernel 3.13.6+:
http://mib.pianetalinux.org/MIB/rosa201 ... kernel313/

you need to apply also the two patches for kernel 3.12, you can get from:
http://mib.pianetalinux.org/MIB/rosa201 ... kernel312/

Put the nr.3 MIB patches in this path (from a root terminal)
/usr/lib/vmware/modules/source/
after a safety backup of the original /source folder contents.

Salve,
Code: Select all
 Toshiba ACPI extensions :

Could not open file : /proc/acpi/toshiba/lcd
function Do_LCD_Info : make sure your kernel has Toshiba ACPI support enabled.

Could not open file : /proc/acpi/toshiba/video
function Do_Video_Info : make sure your kernel has Toshiba ACPI support enabled.

Could not open file : /proc/acpi/toshiba/fan
function Do_Toshiba_Fan_Info : make sure your kernel has Toshiba ACPI support enabled.
