Re: Kernel LTS 3.18.14 for ROSA 2012 2012.1 2014.1 OMV 2014

Post by NicCo »

Considering the OMV2014.2 (Mandriva Tribute Edition) is very close to be released:

I inform you that the kernel 3.18 repository now has a new release for kernel 3.18.14,
is the third release of Kernel ONE source

https://abf.io/nicco/Kernel-3.18.14-3ONE

If you have the kernel 3.18 personal repo configured you should simply receive it!
Currently only kernel-nrjQL-desktop is available as the ONE needed for the release

The most important change is the new release of BFQ (disk scheduler), now v7R8,
and attempt to fix some troubles with TOI (thankful to Joeghi aka Giuseppe Ghibò)

depending on the Release date,
if everything will be fine, this may become the final kernel for omv2014.2 release...
