Take a look at the photo, in the konsole text: Terminator runs
Linux version 4.1.15-1.1381_SKYN12nnmp

"The original T-800, the one portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger, is actually based on Linux kernel 4.1.15. And it's not the vanilla one, it's a Skynet edition."

Our kernel is QL instead (Quantum Leap) is a Time Travel edition...
they can meet each other in a hidden part of space/time dimension

I have prepared our quantum leap version of Kernel 4.1.15 for ROSA and OMA, a lot of improvements and fixes...

The SRPMS have been built by ABF during the past night, just now I'm installing 4.1.15 in my laptop, then I'll reboot,
after I'll start a brief test to verify that everything is ok, if so, I'll write a post a kernel topic about 4.1.15 with all info...

Currently only the 64bit rpms are available in the kernel 4.1 repositories, the 32bit builds are still builds in progress...

Code: Select all

[root@localhost ~]# urpmi --auto-select
I pacchetti perl-5.16.3-8-omv2014.0.x86_64, python3-3.3.2-3-omv2014.0.x86_64, kmod-21-0.1-omv2014.0.x86_64, gcc-4.8.3_2014.01-2.1-omv2014.0.x86_64, make-3.82-12-omv2014.0.x86_64, rpm-helper-0.24.12-8-omv2014.0.noarch, lib64ncurses-devel-5.9-7.20130218.5-omv2014.0.x86_64, gawk-4.1.0-16-omv2014.0.x86_64, kernel-firmware-20150907-0.2-omv2014.0.noarch, glibc-2.19-2.3-omv2014.0.x86_64, perl-base-5.16.3-8-omv2014.0.x86_64, lib64pci3-3.2.1-6-omv2014.0.x86_64, sysfsutils-2.1.0-30-omv2014.0.x86_64, dracut-043-0.2-omv2014.0.x86_64, microcode_ctl-2.1-0.2-omv2014.0.x86_64, glibc-devel-2.19-2.3-omv2014.0.x86_64 sono già installati

Since few min my laptop is running QL realtime (the most responsive and sensitive flavour) of our Kernel 4.1.15

Code: Select all

bash-4.3$ uptime ; uname -a
 09:30:04 up 3 min, 0 users, load average: 4,52, 3,19, 1,32
Linux localhost.localdomain 4.1.15-nrjQL-realtime-ql1omv #1 SMP Wed Dec 23 23:45:01 UTC 2015 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
The boot was fast, all seems going fine, now my laptop is running few internal tests...

Do You want to be the next tester ? :) You can!
