Hi, i have installed this Kde in my Rosa2012LTS 32bit and it works well. In next time i try in my laptop.

i saw the tigro kde 4.8.5

there is a mix of kde 4.8.3 and 4.8.5

for example kdm 4.8.3

specialy for kdepim suite

akonadi-console 4.8.3
akregator 4.8.3
kaddressbook 4.8.3
kdepim4 4.8.3
kdepim4-core 4.8.3
kdepimlibs4-core 4.8.5 !!!!!!
kmail<x> 4.8.3
korganizer 4.83
lib64akonadi<x> 4.8.5
libakregator<x> 4.8.3
lib64kcal4 4.8.5 (but no packet kcal)
lib64kdepim4<x> 4.8.3
etc.
and

no new nepomuk, virtuoso, akonadi<x> etc.

i did no trust to this

i trust better to 4.8.4 because i use since the beginning with 2010.2 i586

i saw tigro kde 4.8.4

some packets are missing

perhaps no update for 1.7.2 ?

perhaps no update for 0.6.3 ?

i know there is a dev recommended new 6.1.6

it seems that kdegraphics4 and kdegraphics4-core are deprecated. someone can confirm ?
they are not used by 4.8.4
if you uninstalled them then this does not uninstall other packets

but ksnapshot surely not deprecated

yes since KDE SC 4.7.0 kdegraphics4 dropped out http://www.kde.org/info/4.7.0.php#binary

i tested kdepim suite 4.8.4 by updating lde to 4.8.4 , with rm 2012 lts ee rp1

kontact crashes : you can't use kontact

kmail crashes : you can't use kmail

with mandriva 2010.2 (2010.3) i586 kontact and kmail don't crash and are usable

it's a nogo for me
