libreoffice-3.5.6-0.1-rosa can't open xls

after updating libreoffice-3.5.6-0.1-rosa can't open xls file(some messages adout ascii-utf8)
I installed previous version libreoffice-3.5.5 mdv which works
has someone the same problem?

if someone can test libreoffice-3.5.6-0.1-rosa open xls(excel)file and tell me that works ok then is bug of my system

It's a xlsx file, not xls.

The same for me... LO 3.5.6 can open and save xls files, No problem at this moment (Rosa Marathon 2012 x86_64)

ROSA Marathon 2012 is long technical support version?

but there is no libreoffice update to newest version bug free
libreoffice 3.5.6 can't open large xls files (google libreoffice-3.5.6 xls)
