MIB - Mandriva International Backports

Good afternoom,
I tried to create a bootable USB with "dd if=ROSA.BETA.XXXX.iso of=/dev/sdc (bs=1M)" and it wasn't able to start at boot. With same method I (re)create bootable USB with alpha2 and it works.
With ROSA beta I burned the release DVD and K3B didn't close it. This happend me in later time with a RC release of Mandriva maybe the 2009, it was fixed by the stable release. Same issue?

la soluzione è quella di scaricare le iso che possono essere scritte su USB e fare il boot con quelle.
Infatti il link di rugyada fa riferimento alla iso i586, scrivibile su USB, che ha un peso di 1GB, mentre quella che io ho messo sulla pennetta era di 1.5GB; l'altro link spiegava che c'erano queste differenza delle versioni della ROSA beta.
Ho anche accennato a K3B e qui in effetti credo che sia un bug della ROSA beta che non è stabile, in anni passati mi successe anche con una RC Mandriva; non chiudeva la scrittura del DVD. Io per scrivere il supporto fisico ho usato Mandriva 2011, poi dal disco, con la iso da 1.5GB, ho installato la ROSA beta.
Non ho creato una USB bootable della beta ma se vuoi provo......se vuoi che provi a usare un'altra volta K3B ..... lo faccio solo per te.

Dal momento che mi hai fatto venire il dubbio che K3B su ROSA 2012.1 possa funzionare male

ho provveduto a segnalarlo, così magari lo testano a fondo
