Hi,
after update (about 420 packages) on reboot system didn't show the kde desktop so (as a previous major update):
I opened another terminal and made the "XFdrake" from root and I choosen proprietary driver:

Code: Select all

    VendorName "NVIDIA Corporation"
BoardName "NVIDIA GeForce 8 series and later (nouveau/nvidia-current)"
    Driver "nvidia"
for my Nvidia GTX 460.
At next restart I could logon into KDE desktop as usual.

Code: Select all

# cat /etc/rosa-release
ROSA Desktop Fresh R1 release 2012.1 for x86_64

This is very good news!

Nicco do you have any idea when R1 ISO files should be ready for download?

Yes, the plans are:
in the next week (min 3 June / max 7 June)

The ISOs should even be these, if not some better:

I find the new release less reactive.
THe refresh of windows is quite slow, probaly a compatibility problem with proprietary driver for nvidia.
I'll describe better in a new thread.
