first I may excuse because my english is bad, I only speak spanish.
I have Rosa Linux fresh r7, and have a problem when I want update or install a program I recive that message in console with urpmi.
wget ha fallado, salio con 127.
I erased all repositorys (because thats the solution in other forum) but now I can get update from repositories that message this
No se puede añadir soporte, errores reportados:
mirror list not found
...falló la recuperación: wget falló: salió con 127
no se puede acceder al soporte de la distribución (no se encontró el archivo media.cfg)
Soporte: distrib ()
if someone know the solution I will be grateful

Never had a similar problem, but I guess you must add again your repositories, otherwise rosa can't know where to search programs and updates

In the spoiler you find the content of my /etc/urpmi/urpmi.cfg file that contains valid mirrors for the 64 bit version of rosa. Shouls you use the 64 bit version of rosa you can try to add such mirrors through Software Media Manager (choose file/add a custom medium/, http server as type of medium, then ignore the mediums that have an ignore attrribute and check the update box if the medium has the update attribute.
Code: Select all

Code: Select all
urpmi.addmedia kernel_4.3 http://abf-downloads.rosalinux.ru/kernels_stable_personal/repository/rosa2014.1/x86_64/kernel_4_3/release/
SI TIENES PC DE 32 BITS
Code: Select all
urpmi.addmedia kernel_4.3 http://abf-downloads.rosalinux.ru/kernels_stable_personal/repository/rosa2014.1/i586/kernel_4_3/release/
Una ves hecho esto ingresas
Code: Select all
urpmi kernel-nrj-desktop-latest cpupower
Reiniciar la PC y listo

Sorry,I was wrong !
I mean I run Rosa linux 2012 LTS Marathon Enteprise Edition-64bit.
I was asked by OS to add media (repos),I click "add" but Firefox do not update to last version,Firefox 49. I use Opera to surf the web.
I moved from Rosa Fresh R8 .
Thanks again and forgive me.

With the ROSA 2012 LTS, you can always adopt the common linux firefox binary, this is working fine for all the linuxes!
You can start from here, then
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/
I can see the current 48.0.2
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/48.0.2/
then, for my use, I go to x86_64 and choose the italian binary
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/rel ... x86_64/it/
surely you can choose a different arch. and/or language folder...
download this, uncompress inside a folder, launch the binary
you can also create a desktop shortcut, or add to SW icon...

Thanks a lot
I'm using Rosa 2012 LTS because it likes to me more than Rosa R8...
One more request /demand : Are you willing to teach me what kind of media should I add to my Rosa 2012 LTS -kde 64bit ??
Thanks again & have a nice day !

If you have not yet a valid and working repository configuration, you can try this way:
- 1 - Open a Konsole, as root, then, first you should remove any previous config with
- 2 - It is possible to automatically select mirrors using the --mirrorlist option.
this command will add important medias selecting the mirrors automatically :
Code: Select all
# urpmi.addmedia --distrib --mirrorlist '$MIRRORLIST'
- 3 - To verify your current configuration, and to manage all repositories
---
P.S.: Here is the ROSA Wiki for URPMI
