You can use (where sdx is your device for usb stick, be carefull to doesnt use wrong device)

Code: Select all

dd if=/your-iso-path/your-iso-name.iso of=/dev/sdx bs=4M
It's been reported that unetbootin works

Installed and after the restart:

Code: Select all

welcome to emergency mode. Use "systemctl default" or ^D to activate default mode
and

Code: Select all

udevd[1362]:SYSFS{}= will be removed in a future udev version, please use ATTR{}= to match the event device, or ATTRS{}= to match the parent device, in/etc/udev/rules.d/51-hso-udev.rules:88
Help!
I have reinstalled the official iso but without kernel-nrj :(

Installata la X64.
Problemi:

ISOs have been made by Mandriva (RosaLab), and are pretty identical to official, only difference is that hey are equipped by Kernel NRJ desktop 3.0.3,
and like official Mandriva 2011 Desktop ISOs they are Hybrid, so both live dvd and Installation disks

Ci siamo dimenticati l'italiano, e pure è una bella lingua.

Problems with DKMS and nVidia (Geforce 7300). MIB 32bits.
After reboot -> KDE splash-screen then black-screen with only the mouse-pointer ??
Not yet resolved.

Yet another strange issue.
After removing "remove-unused-packages" and urmpe --auto-orphans .....
DKMS ask as dependency kernel-source-3.0.3 when the kernel-nrj-devel-3.0.3 is installed??

kernel-nrj has another name to permit us having installed: kernel-desktop and kernel-nrj-desktop, they both for the same version

Perhaps kernel-nrj, when you have installed only kernel-nrj, and no else kernel-desktop is present, does not satisfate some dep

"kernel-nrj" is a different program name than "kernel"
I must check this thing when i'll in office, perhaps I have only to add a simply Provides: kernel and kernel-devel to the .spec file.

The black-screen is solved, with a 'new' KDE configuration settings folder (.kde4)
I think some configuration settings in KDE are gone bad.
