MIB - Mandriva International Backports

Hello:

I have received errors when trying to add these repositories.

ERROR - Cannot read media info synthesis file

They commands are being typed in according to the 2008.1 repository instructions.

Mandriva 2008.1 is not more actively supported by MIB

We cannot test now 2008.1 repositories:
What we know is that we leaved all repositories in a working status, with media_info


BTW, I can check if I can fix, but I need your help

Please, can you inform me about:
1> Which guide do you used to add 2008.1 repositories
2> Which is the repository sent you the synthesis error?

I used the guide from the Mandriva community wiki page.

All of the repositories returned "cannot read synthesis file"

Example:

urpmi.addmedia --update MIB_i686_progs http://mib.pianetalinux.org/2008.1/i686/progs with media_info/synthesis.hdlist.cz

This command used to be O.K, 1 year ago however it no longer functions
