I add this repo for all my installations, so now I updated a pc with nvidia 8200:
after updating to the new nvidia current 310.32 driver, and rebooting, all is OK

Per la mia scheda grafica integrata intel si potrebbero migliorare le prestazioni? perchè con gli effetti abilitati va un po a scatti.

Intendi in modalità grafica e KDE? Dipende...
Presumendo che tu abbia aggiornato tutto quanto (pixman, libdrm ecc ecc), se la scheda la supporta, potresti provare ad utilizzare come accelerazione SNA invece del default UXA
(i nostri driver sono compilati con il supporto SNA attivo):
basta mettere nel file xorg.conf, nella sezione "Device", la riga

Code: Select all

Option "AccelMethod" "SNA"
e provare a riavviare Xorg (vedi "man intel" per tutte le opzioni supportate dal driver video xorg).

Peraltro la CPU non mi sembra un fulmine di guerra (sulla GPU non mi pronuncio: non la conosco; anche se mi dà da pensare quel "chipset GLX Version: 2.1": con mesa 9.0.x i chipset Intel più recenti dovrebbero supportare OpenGL 3.1...), quindi è anche possibile che non ci siano grandi spazi di miglioramento;
e, d'alto canto, un KDE recente con gli effetti è pesantuccio

provato ma nessun cambiamento.... hai ragione tu forse devo disabilitare gli effetti per avere un desktop più performante.

A volte io, se gli effetti vanno un pò a scatti, tra le cose che cambio:
(se proprio voglio tenermi gli effetti, altrimenti li disattivo)

da SystemSettings di KDE
Configura gli effetti Desktop > Generale > Velocità di animazione
da "Normale" a "Veloce"

così diminuiscono i tempi di esecuzione delle animazioni,
sembra fluido, si ha meno la sensazione della scattosità.
