(Solved)Package request of Xmind?
Hi Packagers,
if you find the time and it is possible, could you please build a rpm of Xmind for Mandriva 2009.1?
There are only Debs for Ubuntu and Debian.
The Site of Xmind can you find here http://www.xmind.net/
The Download Site here http://www.xmind.net/downloads/
And the Site from Xmind/Sourceforge can you find here http://sourceforge.net/projects/xmind3/
Thank you
Cheers

Hi! I'm studying this program. Unfortunatelly, it's written is wrong language (Java) and doesn't contain ready build scripts (build instruction looks like a bad joke) so it might take few days to build it properly.

Hi again!
Packages are ready. I tested them both in 32 and 64 bits, seem to work fine. Very soon they will be uploaded to repositories.

Hi Pulver,
Thank you very much!
I can image that this one was not so easy to build for Mandy
Again, thanks a lot for your time and energy. I will test it soon and give my feedback!
Cheers Rossi

Actually, it was so hard that in the end I decided to use prebuild "portable" version from their site and package the files properly.
But the end users won't see any difference.

Feedback
I test it!
Work great!
Love it
May be this is the reason the Maintainer of xmind won't build a rpm version. I asked them a few weeks ago
I work, just like your build, with the portable version. But i thought this programm is so great that it have to be in the repositories as a rpm, so any user can use it!
But what did the Mandriva Maintainer of Eclipse say to the problems?
Cheers Rossi

Something is very wrong with Eclipse in Mandriva (we solved one issue few monthes ago to build pdftk but there are others, as I see).
