Languages available too…
Everything has been prepared to live together with Firefox 2.0.0.x, but if you have plugins you may have some problems.
Natuarally you have to close FF2 before launching FF3, they cannot be started simultanely.
Good Surf on the net!
First impressions and tests:
From the first test made by NicCo and grissino,
- the program seems to be more stable than the previous versions (and beta)
- Plugin work very well and (except for some one) they work better than the 2.0 release
- Acid test 3 gives as a result 72, and pages are rendered much more better
this release even if it’s not the final version, has all the features and stability to be considered as final version (except some compatibility problems for a few of themes and plugin, not updated yet by their authors)
At the moment we have a folder that contains language packages as $lang.xpi files
You ave to manually install it:
“File” Menu —> Open file … (CTRL+O)—> select .xpi file —> Open —> Install now —> Restart Firefox
x86_64 and i586 version will be provided soon (tomorrow they should be ready), you just should change the ‘i686′ word of the repository with ‘i586′ or ‘x86_64′.
[postedit] Both x86_64 and i586 are now ready.
Prepared for You by NicCo e grissino
