Tracker 0.6.90 disponibile per Mandriva Linux 2008.1

Meta Tracker è uno strumento di ricerca desktop che estrae contenuti e metadata dai file per una veloce e precisa ricerca.

I punti di forza di Meta Tracker sono la velocità e la possibilità di visualizzare le anteprime del contenuto cercato.
Meta Tracker nasce per ambiente desktop Gnome dove può essere integrato Nautilus per la ricerca, ma funziona altrettanto bene con desktop KDE.

Tracker ha anche un ottimo strumento di configurazione con il quale impostare
le directory interessate dalla indicizzazione e quali no.

Questo backport interessa la nuova versione 0.6.90 non disponibile per Mandriva 2008.1 che introduce migliorie e riscrittura sostanziale del codice.
